Welcome to the Trojan Records official website and forums
The second of this month's 2CD releases has been announced. Entitled ‘STAND AND GIVE PRAISE – TROJAN ROOTS’, the compilation brings together 40 Roots classics from the genre’s heyday, written and performed by many of its greatest protagonists, and produced by some of its most influential creators.
Chronologically compiled, the collection provides a fascinating history lesson in the development of the style and Jamaican music throughout this period – and with almost every track making the debut on Trojan, it is undoubtedly set to be one of the most significant compilations of classic Reggae of 2010.
